Giorgio Fusetti

Giorgio Fusetti’s martial arts journey spans more than thirty years of practice and exploration, beginning with the study of Hung Gar and expanding through his experience in Tai Ji Quan and bodywork disciplines such as Tuina, Bok Bu, and Keng Rak. This extensive background has allowed him to develop an understanding of martial arts in which movement goes beyond its external execution and requires a deeper knowledge of how the body functions.

After attending a seminar with Master Mauro A. D’Angelo, Giorgio decided to embark on the DECODE training programme, particularly impressed by the Master’s technical proficiency and his ability to express unified, whole-body movement.

His previous experience enabled him to recognise familiar principles, such as posture and body alignment, while also appreciating a different approach to understanding and applying them. Particularly significant to him is the emphasis placed on bodily awareness and the ability to listen to the body, qualities he considers among the most challenging to develop. Master D’Angelo’s detailed explanations and conceptual precision have helped him deepen his understanding of these principles, gradually transforming them into a direct, embodied experience within his practice.

Since 2024, Giorgio has been pursuing his training in the DECODE Method and teaching Internal Alchemy in Turin. The teacher training programme has helped him clarify not only the technical aspects of the practice but also the language and communication skills needed to convey them effectively.

In his teaching, Giorgio places particular value on transforming principles that, although encountered during his previous martial arts training, had remained largely theoretical into tangible experience. Through DECODE, these concepts have become part of a clear and accessible learning process, developing into physical qualities that can be progressively recognised, cultivated, and refined through direct experience.
