He was born in Genoa in 1963 and began practicing martial arts in 1978 at the age of 15, studying the following styles of kung fu: Hung Gar, Wing Chun, Tang Lang, Pa Kua, and Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.
In 1996 he specialized in China (Hong Kong) in the Hung Kuen (Hung Gar) style with Master Cheon Yee Keung, who officially recognized him as one of his representatives.
In 1996 he began studying the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan with the Yang family, under GM Yang Zhen Duo. Since then, he has continued to study and deepen his knowledge of this method by directly following the teachings of Master Yang Jun, who in 2012, in China, officially recognized him as one of his first disciples.
Since 2000 he has been the technical director of the Yang Chengfu Center of Milan for the International Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Association, at Kwoon Kung Fu.
In 2000 he collaborated with the Peppino Vismara Center – Don Calabria Institute of Milan, where for 10 years he taught the Yang style to a group of young people with Down syndrome and physical disabilities: an enriching experience that provided feedback on the effectiveness of this practice on psycho-physical balance.
He hosted the program “Philosophy and Well-being” for Swiss Italian Television, channel TS1, which aired from 2003 to 2014, where he taught the Yang style of Tai Chi. During the program, Master Yang Jun and the directors of the Yang Chengfu Centers of Cologne and Rome appeared as guest stars.
At the 2014 International Tai Chi Chuan Symposium organized by the Yang family in Louisville (USA), where the four headmasters of the other traditional Tai Chi styles—Chen, Wu, Wu-Hao, and Sun—were also present, he presented a set form together with Master Yang Jun.
In the summer of 2016 he took part as sparring partner of Master Yang Jun in the recording of a series of DVDs on the Yang method, soon to be released in China. He periodically conducts seminars in Italy and abroad to promote the Yang style of Tai Chi.
Montreal (Canada), 2016: he began studying Lohan Qi Gong and since 2018 has been qualified to teach this method.
Milan, November 2019: he began the MAD DECODE path with Master Mauro Antonino D'Angelo. The Milan headquarters in via Apelle 8 is the official venue for periodic meetings with Master D'Angelo; since September 2020 it has been the DECODE TRAINING CENTER.
