Daniele Marcolini

Daniele Marcolini has been practising martial arts since 1979, exploring a wide range of disciplines and approaches over more than forty years. From Judo and Karate to Kung Fu, Aikido, and Jujitsu, as well as Greco-Roman wrestling, Muay Thai, and boxing, his journey also includes Yoga and professional training in movement science, physiotherapy, and osteopathy.

He first encountered Master Mauro A. D’Angelo during a conference, where he was struck by the practical nature of his approach and his ability to make complex concepts understandable. This initial curiosity led him to experience the DECODE Method firsthand, where he discovered an approach fundamentally different from those he had previously encountered.

Despite his extensive martial arts background, Daniele encountered principles that were new to him, such as the cultivation of Song and Hun Yuan Li. What particularly impressed him was the opportunity to approach practice through a progressive, logical process, grounded in direct bodily experience and open to practical verification, rather than relying on abstract explanations.

Daniele particularly appreciates the consistency between what Master D’Angelo teaches and what he demonstrates through his own practice. He recognises in him the same passion that has driven his own exploration for decades, together with a teaching ability that makes technically complex material accessible.

Since 2023, Daniele has been teaching Internal Alchemy at the DECODE school in Tivoli, where he leads regular classes twice a week. His professional experience in healthcare, together with his knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, enables him to recognise a tangible consistency between the principles of the DECODE Method and scientific understanding of how the human body functions.

For Daniele, DECODE is now, above all, an integral part of his daily practice, something he wishes to share without unnecessary layers of complexity. His teaching reflects this commitment: prioritising direct experience and guiding students towards a practical understanding of the principles through physical exploration and embodied practice.
